Bharat Patel is a senior pharmaceutical executive with more than three decades of leadership experience spanning business development, licensing and M&A, commercial operations, global supply chain, and project management. As Senior Vice President at Heritage/Avet Pharma, he has led strategic initiatives that generated over $50 million in incremental revenue and significant EBITDA through acquisitions, in-licensing, and portfolio expansion.

He has deep expertise in end-to-end deal execution, financial and commercial due diligence, and international alliance management, having built strong partnerships with CDMOs, CMOs, and suppliers across North America, Europe, India, and China. Bharat has played a central role in business development and alliance management, contributing to more than 50 successful product launches while driving operational efficiencies and risk mitigation. Earlier in his career, he held mid management roles at Sandoz, where he managed IT infrastructure and supported integration initiatives.

Recognized for his strategic vision and cross-functional leadership, Bharat has also directed business development, corporate operations, and senior executive recruitment. He holds a Master’s in Management Sciences from the University of Bombay and a Bachelor of Commerce from MS University, Baroda.
